SDGs directions: New challenges for Bangladesh

As per United Nations, “The Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.” Bangladesh is committed to reach the Goals and Targets of the SDGs, with the support of Development Partners, Civil Societies and all other stakeholders. The Covid-19 pandemic has created further threats for all the stakeholders to accomplish the SDGs. On the other hand, various experts are opining that 2021 will open-up new window of opportunities, in relation to achieving the SDGs, that require clear knowledge and understanding about these goals in addition to analysis of the current situation. This session will create a space, where Experts from Development Sector will give their knowledgeable opinions, and all other stakeholders can participate equally. This dialogue is expected to generate further understanding and directions for the NGOs and Civil Society Organizations.
