DEVCOM aims to provide technical, methodical and quality-assured services in the field of Research and Evaluation. We aim to shape development thinking patterns and practices through our research works focusing on people-centered perspectives. We apply multidisciplinary approaches for conducting research and develop reports that we actively seek to see applied in development policy and practices.
Project and Program Evaluations: We conduct program and project evaluation as a third party support the development partners to assess the impact of their contribution in the development sector through qualitative and quantitative research.
Baseline, Mid-term and End-line survey: We conduct baseline, mid-term and end-line surveys for projects and programs to measure impacts of interventions. We also provide support for conducting situation analysis before starting a project or program. We also conduct KAP study to measure the Knowledge, Attitude and Practices of a community towards certain behavior changes.
Issue-based Thematic Research: We conduct issue based thematic research in specific priority areas like: migration, human rights, gender and health with focus on disadvantage populations. Our research team has strong capacity on qualitative research planning, thematic analysis on diversified development issues.
Process Documentation: We provide clients with services for conducting process documentation of development projects and/or programs to document the methodical approaches implemented during and at the end of the intervention period. We also provide comprehensive support for publication services.
Sector-Specific Mapping and Analysis: We conduct industry wide and sector specific mapping and analysis to identify stakeholders at each step of the supply chains or value chains. Further we engage with stakeholders in such ways so as to instill in them the developmental vision that is mandated by the relevant clients.
