World Vision Bangladesh had been conducting their Livelihood Technical Program under the concept and framework that is being implemented by their LEAP 3 (Learning through Evaluation, Accountability and Planning 3) program. The program seeks to synchronize National Office strategies and goals with local level interventions. In accordance with WVB’s Gender Policy, DEVCOM carried out the Participatory Gender Analysis addressing the key areas that were aimed for interventions in gender equity under the Livelihood TP and evaluated them to outline the main gaps in terms of sustainable transformation of gender disparities in Bangladesh.
For carrying out the project, DEVCOM compiled and analyzed literature, developed quantitative and qualitative survey questionnaires and conducted national level surveys, developed and implemented Participatory Gender Analysis Sessions, conducted data analysis of quantitative and qualitative surveys, including data collected from PGA, and further provided recommendations and developed tools for engagement for World Vision Bangladesh.
