CARE Bangladesh has been awarded by UNICEF to work jointly in a research project on Climate Resilient Health Systems. Climate Change & Health Promotion Unit (CC&HPU) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Patuakhali Science & Technology University in collaboration with University of California, San Francisco, lead the research work of this initiative and CARE Bangladesh was responsible for establishing partnerships with health services and vulnerable communities of the coastal belt to mitigate climate change-related health risks for vulnerable women and children of Bangladesh. DEVCOM, provided support to CARE Bangladesh developing a comprehensive communication strategy to promote climate resilient health delivery system through disseminating appropriate information to the relevant stakeholders based on the context which is focused on Social Behavior and Change Communication (SBCC) activities. DEVCOM also organized a consultation with all level of stakeholders including policy makers such as: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, UNICEF Bangladesh to finalize the communication strategy.
