According to UNFPA, there is a lack of availability of data and information on the link between SRHR and GBV with climate changes in Bangladesh. Which is why, climate induced migration and its impacts on SRHR are not getting proper attention of policy makers from all levels. Thus, UNFPA commissioned out the support of DEVCOM Managing Director Hassan Imam as a national consultant to conduct the study on climate change implications on SRHR and to suggest the design of integrated urban SRHR and GBV. Hassan Imam, through his team, generated adequate evidence through a systematic analysis of existing literature and qualitative assessment on the cities where climate-induced migrants, women, and girls are living. The national consultant provided support in designing innovative programs and identifying the interested donor agencies to fund the program interventions. Additionally, they also identified key innovative areas to develop program concept notes, as well as prepared a matrix based on donor mapping.
