ILO through its project “Application of Migration Policy for Decent Work of Migrant Workers” has partnered with BAIRA to improve the capacity of its members, for the purpose of which they commissioned out DEVCOM Managing Director Hassan Imam as a national consultant for his technical assistance to support BAIRA directly on project implementation. Hassan Imam has provided training to the selected recruitment agents association to improve member services as well as train and monitor recruitment agents in applying the draft CoC. Additionally, he provided targeted technical assistance to the recruitment agents in order to provide input on skills requirements to the government and conducted a range of awareness raising activities for: (a) member RAs on the CoC; and (b) migrant workers on the processes and procedures. For these activities, the consultant organized, facilitated and evaluated trainings, organized consultation meetings and conducted rapid Needs Assessment.
