IOM commissioned Samuel Hall, in collaboration with the University of Sussex, to conduct a study on debt, vulnerability, and sustainable reintegration in Bangladesh, Cameroon, El Salvador, Ghana, and Iraq. The objective of this study was to provide more comprehensive and gendered evidence on the link between debt, vulnerability, and sustainable reintegration. DEVCOM was responsible conduct the research in Bangladesh on behalf of Samuel Hall. As part of the research, DEVCOM collected qualitative data from the migrants and members of their families, including the conduction of KIIs, IDIs, and case studies.
